This morning Maizey was telling me something very serious. She took my hand and led me to the fridge, so I opened it for her. She stood in front of it and said 'hmmm, peaches. ohhhh cado (her way of saying avocado). yep pickles. Ya, mama, pickles.' So, I fed her a pickle for breakfast.
She is speaking in sentences. If they were written sentences you would see periods between every. single. word.
Our conversations go something like this:
Mimi. coat. on.
mama. coat. on. too.
Yes, Maizey I am just putting my shoes on, I will put my coat on in a second.
mama. coat. on. now. outside.
Direct and bossy. That's my girl.

Wonder where the direct and bossy comes from?????? Awesome hat Maizey/Mimi!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, I would love to know who left this comment?!?!?! I also wonder where she it gets it from?? Her Grannie maybe?!?! It couldn't possibly be her mama, could it?!
ReplyDeleteI confess it was me, Trudy, who left that comment. I remember being at your house when your Grannie came to get you and Riley to take you to Calgary. Riley was a baby so you were not very old. No time for idle chit chat it was, "Come on Grannie lets go." and off you three went. I laughed out loud and loved it that this tiny, beautiful, knew her own mind little girl was organizing.
